Kennedy Agyapong, former NPP flagbearer’s campaign team has expressed their gratitude to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the way the internal polls were conducted.
According to the team, speaking on Ghana360news Elections Submit, “Mr. Agyapong is incredibly grateful to everyone who helped him in his historic bid to be the flagbearer.
“The delegates who cast their votes, especially those who voted for him; his fellow candidates; the leadership of the NPP, including the Presidential Elections Committee; His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his leadership; and members of his family for their unwavering support are among the people for whom Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong expresses gratitude.
Above all, Hon. Ohene Agyapong expresses gratitude to the Almighty God for his protection and guidance during the campaign and in the future.”
“The time has come for us all to come together and give the NDC the SHOWDOWN,” Hon. Ohene Agyapong declared in his concession speech, in which he acknowledged the results and congratulated Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his victory.
The team again mentioned that, Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong “wants to cheer up anyone who might be disappointed by the outcome by pointing out that we created history as a team and encouraging them to take comfort in the knowledge that we gave the party a strong and memorable message.
