Tragically, Kwasi Agbeti, a.k.a. “Killer,” a security guard, was shot and killed during a heist at a Total gas station in the Eastern area of Suhum.

The tragic event happened on Monday, October 30, at approximately 6:43 p.m.

According to sources, the attack was carried out by five armed bandits who approached the station on foot. Agbeti was there when they assaulted the station’s shop.

The attackers beat the now-deceased with sticks, then they opened fire on him from close range when he tried to run away from the store.

The fuel station supervisor was shot in his office, which intensified the robbery. An amount of money that was not mentioned was taken by the perpetrators. They also stole GH¢1,000 and the cell phone of a tanker driver who had just come to off-load petroleum.

After being quickly driven to the hospital in a customer’s car, the late Agbeti sadly passed away from his wounds there.

The Eastern Regional Hospital provided medical care to the supervisor as well.

In less than two weeks, there have been three robberies in the Suhum region, including this one. On-site officers from the National Investigation Bureau and the police are starting a comprehensive investigation into the crime.

The deceased person’s family is requesting that the Inspector General of Police make sure their loved one receives justice.
