On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, in Tamale, a congrats letter bearing Mayor Sule Salifu’s signature stated, “our collective goal should be the advancement of Tamale, and I believe that through collaboration and unity, we can achieve remarkable milestones. Let us set aside our political differences and focus on the shared vision of making Tamale a better place for all.

In his congratulatory message, the Mayor of Tamale also conveyed his gratitude to all candidates who actively engaged in the democratic process.
