Out of the 20,181 candidates who took the 2023 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE), 9,556 teachers, equivalent to 47.4 percent, did not pass the test.

The remaining 10,625 candidates, representing 52.6 percent, successfully passed the examination, as revealed in a statement by Dennis Osei-Owusu, the Public Relations Officer for the National Teaching Council (NTC).

This information was shared in Accra and distributed to Onua TV and Onua FM. The total number of candidates who participated in the examination was 20,181.
