Over the weekend, on Saturday, November 25, 2023, Afritech Hub gained a significant milestone in the realm of cybersecurity with the grand staging of the “Ghana Information Security Summit 2023” in Tamale. The summit, a convergence of expertise and insights, witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including high-profile personalities and leaders in the field.

Among the distinguished attendees were the Vice Chancellor of Tamale Technical University, Prof. Abass Braimah; Prof. A.B Salifu, Executive Director for the Human Security Research Center Ghana; and the Municipal Chief Executive for Sagnarigu Municipal, Hon. Mohammed Yakubu Ahmed. Additionally, Petia Apovo, the Development Advisor with GIZ Ghana DTC project in Tamale, graced the occasion, alongside numerous other luminaries.

The summit garnered a remarkable attendance of over a thousand individuals, encompassing representatives from various senior high schools in Tamale and members of the general public.
