Last year’s GJA Health Journalist and Ghanaian high-rising young Journalist, Prince Kwame Tamakloe of Rainbow Radio International, London and Accra has been adjudged the Best Agriculture Journalist of the Year 2022 in the Northern, Savannah and the Northeast regions by the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA)
The northern region chapter of the GJA held their awards night at the Radaach Lodge and conference center in Tamale on Saturday October 14 where Journalists from the old northern region were in attendance.
Prince Kwame Tamakloe won the award among some 35 entries to this year’s competition with his story on the effects of climate change on livestock production in the northern region.
He said it was a big honor to him and the award will be a big motivation to him as he seeks to work even harder to impact the lives of the people in the northern region and Ghana as a whole.
“This is just the beginning of greater things to come, hard work, dedication and the blessings of the most high, has landed me this prestigious award. I will keep working hard to change the narrative in the northern region and Ghana.”
Prior to this award, he has won the GJA Health Journalist of year 2021, Merck Foundation media recognition award 2021, climate impact Journalist of year, Young African Journalists climate change reporter of the year and so on.
Other winners at the night included Prince Mukadi of Zaa Radio/TV, Fugu Mohammed of Graphic group among others.
