“Ghana’s Afro-pop sensation, Adina Thembi Ndamse, known as Adina, has unveiled her latest track titled ‘Party,’ teaming up with Hi-life musician Kofi Kinata. The music video for this release dropped on October 12, 2023.
Adina, who has Ghanaian-South African roots, revealed that despite the video’s recent release, it has garnered significant attention from Ghanaians, amassing approximately 124,000 views and presently holding the 19th spot on Ghana’s playlist.”
In an interview with Adina, she clarified, “This track is all about celebrating, which is why we opted for the vibrant masquerade festival as the backdrop. It was also filmed in Takoradi.”
She went on to reveal that her latest single, “Party,” serves as a teaser for her fans and the Ghanaian audience, preparing them for her upcoming full album slated for release in 2024.
Additionally, she dropped a hint about her forthcoming album, emphasizing her aspirations for international recognition.
She explained “This single is a component of my upcoming album scheduled for release next year. The album includes collaborations with seven other African artists, including musicians from South Africa, and, of course, Kofi Kinata, who marks the first collaboration on this album.”
Adina shared her concern about the limited progress she has made with her fibroid awareness project, ‘Beautiful Inside.’ Despite this, she emphasized that her dedicated team and her deep love and passion for music continue to motivate her.
Additionally, Adina discussed her upcoming clothing line, ‘Thembi Republic.’
“I was personally styled by my own clothing line, Thembi Republic. Establishing a business in Ghana can be quite challenging, especially when dealing with artisans. This is why there have been delays, but we have now secured a location and will be launching soon,” she explained.
