Former Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng after retiring from active play is venturing into football management.

A renowned football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, disclosed that Boateng is set to commence his managerial journey in 2024, taking on a coaching role in the Baller League.

This league is an initiative led by German footballer Mats Hummels, a former teammate of Boateng in the German youth system.

Romano shared the news on social media, stating, “Kevin Prince Boateng, ready for a new chapter after retiring as he is expected to start in 2024 as the new team manager in Mats Hummels’ Baller League. His career will turn into a new experience soon.”

In August 2023, Boateng officially announced his retirement. Over his illustrious career, Boateng featured for 15 different clubs, including the Italian powerhouse AC Milan, where he played a pivotal role in securing the 2011 Serie A title.

Notably, he made a significant impact at the international level by choosing to represent Ghana in 2010, having previously played for Germany at the youth level. Boateng earned 15 caps for the Black Stars, contributing two goals, and notably participated in the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.”
