The Electoral Commission (EC) has scheduled an exhibition of the provisional voters register to take place from Friday, November 3, to Tuesday, November 7, 2023 In order to prepare for the District Level Elections (DLE).
The event will be taking place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. nationwide, at all 38,622 polling places.

This exhibition’s main goal is to give prospective voters the chance to double-check their personal information, such as name, age, gender, and designated polling place. Furthermore, users have the option to request additions or corrections as needed.

Samuel Tettey, the EC’s deputy chair, announced this during a press conference on Wednesday in Accra.

“The commission will display or exhibit the provisional voters register at each of the 38,622 polling places across the nation as part of its preparations for the conduct of the district level elections scheduled for November 19, 2023. Therefore, from Friday, November 3, to Tuesday, November 7, 2023, all polling places that will act as exhibition centers across the nation will concurrently display the provisional voter register, according to the Commission.

“Throughout the exercise, the exhibition will begin at 7 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. The exhibition exercise aims to give potential voters the opportunity to confirm details. Name, age, sex, and other details that were recorded during the registration process, and request additions or modifications as needed. Knowing where to cast their ballots on election day will also be beneficial to voters” he said.
